Doing stand-up comedy is hard. Trust me, I know. I do it, and I’ve been doing it for almost eight years now. I moved to New York City to pursue my dream of being a comedian, and it’s come with a pretty nice set of hardships that comedians know all too well. Still, we love what we do, and it’s all worth it.

That’s why it makes me supremely jealous that Chuck Esterly, an 89-year-old man who just recently started doing stand-up, crushed it as hard as he did in this video. His timing and presence are forces to be reckoned with.

Well, my hat goes off to Chuck Esterly. He absolutely killed it. Makes a young comic like me a little jealous, to be honest. Scratch that, it makes a young comic like me extremely jealous. I hope he gets to keep doing it, because he definitely has the chops.
